Many people in our school community love to volunteer their time to come and assist in the classroom. We have a flexible program designed to maximise the impact parents will have in the classroom to assist students in their learning. All parents interested will need to have a Working With Children’s Check and attend our training seminar. Both students and teachers enjoy involving parents in the classroom, so have a go and get involved!
Membership on the Advisory Council provides each person with the opportunity to share in Proclaiming the Good News, in building the community of the parish and school and contributing to policy formulation which will provide for the development of educational opportunities in the school. Parents are warmly invited to join the Advisory Council to participate in creating changes in and around Holy Trinity.
Our Parents Committee run many fun and engaging events throughout the school year, including the School Disco, Mothers/Fathers day stalls, a range of different fund raising events and many more. Holy Trinity is a community in which there are many people involved, including our parents, so get involved to see what amazing experiences we can give to our students!

MACS Governance Statement
Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School is a school which operates with the consent of the Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne and is operated and governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS).
MACS governs and operates Catholic schools in the Archdiocese to continue the mission of Catholic education to proclaim the Good News and equip our young people with the knowledge, skills, and hope to live meaningful lives and enrich the world around them.
Because the good work of educating the young is a co-responsible task led by every member of the Catholic school community, School Advisory Councils have been established to provide a crucial point of connection between the wider school community and school leaders. This governance model was designed to ease the administrative burden on our schools and parishes, allow parish priests to focus on the mission of education in the parish, enable greater collaboration between schools and ensure greater consistency in school policies and procedures.
More information about MACS is available at www.macs.vic.edu.au.
